About me, where to start? I would term myself as a somewhat eccentric used boat buyer. I have definitely made one or two mistakes in my boat buying time; I often find myself buying boats few others would touch and wasting much more money than I should because I like a challenge or maybe I just like being difficult and as soon as someone tells me it can’t be done, I then feel compelled to do it or maybe I’m just a sentimental fool who wants to give broken boats a home. In any case, whatever my bizarre motivation has been for making these mistakes I’ve learnt a lot from them over the years and although some have been rather enjoyable mistakes others have not and I can’t help feeling if I’d just been a bit more informed I could’ve avoided them (so well done you for being sensible enough to read this and do your research before jumping in, it is a smart and admirable choice and will hopefully save you money and heartache). So I set up this blog to inform other buyers of simple little things that could help them along their boat buying path. It’s quite an exciting adventure you’ve started really.
